We attached emotions to various situations that happen in our life. One of the biggest tools I learned on my own healing journey was "It is what it is".  This practice has and continues to allow me to process my feelings and emotions without attaching it to a situation.  

It's a practice that requires patience and consistency.  Your feelings are ALWAYS valid to YOU and this practice allows for you to process those valid feelings.
