When you are authentic, your relationships are authentic. In contrast, when you are trying to fit into an idea of what others want you to be your relationships are not built on honesty.
You will NEVER please everyone but you need to make sure that you are pleasing yourself but you have to know who YOU are before you can actually be authentic.
When you are shape shifting into others comfort they are liking a false version of who you are portraying yourself to be. That is exhausting and not something that you can maintain. While we DO need human interaction, we do NOT need to have that interaction when it is not productive or authentic.
